Mable has had a long journey for such a young dog; she is about ten months old and is now looking for her forever home. She was someone’s puppy at one time, they brought her home and put a collar on her, but after that they put her outside and just forgot about her.  When animal control was called to pick her up, she had already given birth to six puppies and her collar had grown into her neck.  She was a FABULOUS mom, caring for all of the needs of her puppies.  The collar she had on was removed but the damage had been done, Mable now has a scar around her neck that will forever remind us what she has been through.  Despite all of this she is a sweet, lovable loyal companion.  There are a few things that she is still working on, she has had some issues with young children, she’s not so sure about hats and men, and has some separation anxiety issues, but she is working hard to get through these issues.  Mable is still very young and has lots of energy and she needs a loving home that can help her grow and allow her to share all the love she has to give.  Mable is currently in Auburn, AL.   

 She is scheduled to be spayed the beginning of January.   Her weight: 40-45 lbs.
