Meet "Prunie" ---- Prunie is an adorable Peke/Chi/Pug? who was taken in by Alabama Pug Rescue after having "buckshot" removed from her back legs.  She is now in excellent health, is spayed, fully vaccinated and on heartworm prevention.  She is housebroken, but would prefer to use a "wee" pad then get her little paws wet on rainy days. She also loves a crate or the back of a sofa, she is not picky at all, UNLESS she has to share her space with another dog. Therefore, Prunie will NOT be placed in a home where there are other dogs, and her new owner must understand that Prunie does not realize her size (10 pounds) when exposed to other dogs.  She must remain a spoiled little princess, and be treated as such.  We guestimate Prunie to be about 3 years old.  If you are interested in Prunie you should complete an application at www.alabamapugrescue.org.  Vet references are mandatory, as is a home visit.
