Pearl
is my red and white female Pembroke Welsh corgi . She is in a
foster home who was rescued her from a kill shelter in Lincoln Co, TN
(Fayetteville). She's a 'strawberry blonde' with
white bib, and a narrow white blaze and white cheeks. She was very heavy
when rescued but has lost at least five pounds now, and with her food
measured, is still losing some of her 'baby fat.' She is now up-to-date
on meds, had a negative HW test, nails, teeth, skin testing,
micro-chipped, etc. She has been spayed. We think she is around 5
years old. She would be best in an only-dog home, she does not get along
with other females. We don’t know how she feels about male dogs
or cats. Pearl is wonderful with people, does not guard her food, is
very sweet-natured, walks well on lead, traveled in a car crate. She
rolls over for belly scratches and loves attention, lets us pick up her
feet, etc. She takes treats nicely, knows “Sit” and is learning
