ANIMAL RESCUE DOG. WE

PLEASE EMAIL INFO@AMYZARK.ORG FOR THEIR APPLICATION.
Ricky is a purebred shih tzu boy surrendered to rescue by a
breeder. He is a year old
(estimated D.O.B.
April 28, 2007
) and weighs 9.2 pounds. Ricky
has been neutered, brought up to date on his immunizations, tested
negative for heartworms, and started on preventative.
He will have an absolutely gorgeous blonde coat when his hair
grows back in. Ricky is shy
because he has had very little human contact, so he will need a family
who will give him time to warm up and learn to be the little prince he
was meant to be. His new
family will need to be willing to work with him on his house training
(he had never been in a house before he came to us) and teach him to
walk on a leash. He is
young and will learn quickly. Ricky
will not be placed in a home with children under the age of 12 or with a
dog weighing more than 20 pounds. His
adoption donation is $150, and he is being fostered in Birmingham,
Alabama. We do approve out
of state adoptions, but the adopter must be willing to drive to the
foster home to “fetch” the new family member.
We do not ship or transport our dogs.
