Dear DOG LOVING FRIENDS,

As many of you know, my late husband, Wayne , rescued and cared for a number of dogs, over the years.  Each dog came with a sad story of abandonment, abuse, injury, sickness, owners who could no longer care for them, etc.  As Wayne has passed away, there are many animals now missing his loving care.

Even though my son and I are continuing the care of the animals, the reasons for my plea to you are regarding the several dogs who are “people oriented,” healthy, loving, and would be so much happier in a family environment, instead of permanently residing at the kennels. 

The “inside dogs,” who shared Wayne’s office space, were accustomed to daily petting and much human contact.  Because they are accustomed to daily interaction with people, they would make excellent family pets, and would shower a new owner with the gratitude and love that only a rescued animal can give.

All dogs have been spayed or neutered, and are current with all shots, medications, etc.  A fenced yard or an owner who is willing to walk on a leash is needed.

The inside dogs include:

Angel, a very blond, golden retriever, female

Tessa, German Shepard, female

Laila, German Shepard mix, female

Mama Dog, black chow, female

Other dogs, whom we feel would make good pets, because they have exhibited good personalities, love of people, etc., although they have not been “inside dogs” while with us, are: 

Purdy, (found near Lake Purdy ) German Shepard mix, female

Nikki, white/blond golden mix, female (possible White German Shepard)

Blue, hound, short hair, Weimaraner (?) mix, male

None of these dogs came to us with “papers” or any detailed information as to their past; therefore, we’ve made educated guesses as to their ages and breeds, with the aid of the vets who have seen them.

 It is our hope that you will help us find LOVING HOMES for these dear animals.
