Tristan is a Maltezu, a Maltese/ Shih tzu mix.
Tristan is 7 months old and weighs 8 pounds.
He was surrendered to rescue by his previous owner who didn’t
have time for him. He has
been neutered, had all his immunizations brought up to date, tested
negative for heartworms and started on preventative.
Tristan is a perky little guy with lots of puppy spunk
and energy, although he is willing to settle down and snuggle,
also. He is extremely vocal
and definitely not suited for apartment or condo living, and he will
need a fenced yard because he has not yet learned how to walk on a leash
and will need a safe way to go out to potty.
He will also need someone with the patience to work with him on
his housetraining skills. Tristan
will not be placed in a home with children under the age of 12.
His adoption donation is $250, and he is being fostered in
Birmingham
,
Alabama
. We do approve out of
state adoptions, but the adopter must be willing to drive to the foster
home to “fetch” the new family member.
We do not ship or transport our dogs.
